Looked after well, Pirloni pieces are made to last and to be passed on. Here is how to care for each fabric.
Dry clean, or hand-wash in cold water with a gentle wool detergent. Never wring or twist. Press out the water, reshape, and dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight. Store folded rather than hung to keep the shape, steam instead of ironing, and de-pill gently with a fabric comb.
Machine-wash cold to warm on a gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colours. Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Tumble dry low or line dry, and iron on a warm setting if needed.

Never machine-wash. Brush with a suede brush to lift dirt and restore the nap. Protect with a suede spray before first wear and re-apply periodically. Spot-clean gently and avoid soaking or direct rain; for stains, use a professional cleaner.
Wash less and air more — most pieces only need refreshing. Close zips and fastenings before washing, turn garments inside out, and separate by colour.
